The original sketch of the old lady from the train that turned into the large painting for the final piece
This is the second (but not final) painting that will make up the final piece that I have worked this week on for assessment next week, the fact I have painted it in a more hurried style has some significance, but I’ll leave that until the finished project post to explain (if it needs explaining).
One of the A1 Sheets that will make up part of the final piece for next week, an old lady from a train journey
Old lady Portrait being made for our Gruff Rhys brief, half finished
Pen sketch portrait of an old man on the train, may have made him look a lot friendlier than he actually was….
I thought that trying to take a figure and shape and position it so it resembled a new form would be a good idea, I think it has worked reasonably well, thought it probably needs it’s intentions to be pointed out to be understood. One of many train sketches done today in my new sketchbook.
A five minute pencil sketch of our life model Jan, while she sat in one of her more relaxed poses on the sofa.
